The winter chill has finally set in and we are reaching for our favourite cashmere scarves from Cosi. Perfect for layering with jackets, sweaters or even a t-shirt on those in-between days. Here, we style the beautiful colours on offer this season and share a little about what makes this brand so special.

A Sustainable Brand
Founded by former fashion and creative director Elaine Briggs, Cosi is based on the solid values of natural materials and ancient craftsmanship. The brand creates pieces from luxurious, sustainable cashmere and are committed to ethical production - from recycling water to using natural soaps and eco friendly dyes.

Cosi Cashmere
Cosi cashmere is not only 100% pure and sourced direct from a trusted supplier in Mongolia, but it comes from sustainable herds that don’t destroy the land. It takes two or three cashmere goats to grow enough wool for one scarf per year.  This suits the Cosi ethos: quality not quantity, less not more.

The Artisans
The Cosi atelier works only in hand weaving on traditional wooden pedal looms. This method was chosen for the authenticity and quality achieved in the final pieces. It takes two days to set up a pedal handloom and then Cosi artisans weave an average of three to five pieces a day.
