What does a typical day in Paris look like to you?
A day in Paris with Yvonne Léon, sounds like a dream! To tell you the truth, a typical day would be a working day, as I spend a lot of time on my business, so it's less dreamy... But for me it stays that way because I love my job and my business. I get up in the morning, get ready and go take a coffee in a bistro before going to my office where I spend the rest of the day. Then I like to take a drink before going back home, rest a bit with my loved ones and do it all again the next day! Simple like that but that's fine to me, to be honest, it’s all I ever dreamt about.
How does your background in fashion shape your approach to jewellery?
My fashion’s background shapes me a lot. It developed my creativity and organized my thoughts, opened my mind to new things and has always helped me to create, with another vision.
The greatest influences and inspirations for your jewellery collections..?
The Yvonne Léon pieces that you never take off..?
For me, nothing beats our iconic signet rings, a heart bangle or a solitaire necklace with diamond, which can be worn every day, no matter what outfit you're wearing.

The greatest influences and inspirations for your jewellery collections..?
I draw inspiration from everything I like, without exception. Obviously, the jewelry I love inspires me the most, but not just that. I find that the inspiration can come everywhere and at any time. I try as much as possible to make my jewelry unique, and inspiration from outside the jewelry world can only be beneficial.
What is your favourite part of being a jewellery designer with
your own business?
I make a living from my passion, and I'm very lucky. I get up in the morning and I'm happy to go to work, because it represents what I've always wanted and loved to do, to create again and again. It's important to me to be an independent woman with her own business, and that's what I've managed to do. I'm very proud of it, and even more because I do what I love.
